Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha first announced to be transgender in high school. Sasha's family supported him through the difficult times, and he knew the possibility of everything through music. Jim and Sasha are both song writers, and have recently become an official duo and have been playing in open mics as well as different venues around the city. The Voice coaches never discussed Sasha's past, however Jim and Sasha have shared their story in a clip that was presented prior to their show. Sasha began playing the guitar aged six. They spoke about their tastes in music and told stories of their first encounter. Since his father is an experienced music teacher, he was better at understanding the concept. Sasha was born a female and struggled to find his identity as a kid. In a post on Instagram she shared her struggles. Jim felt emotional as he outlined his reasons for not being capable of helping through these challenging circumstances. Sasha Allen (The Voice contestant) was a girl at the time she came into the world. Sasha Allen will be 19 years old in 2021. When Sasha was a freshman at the high school system, he made the decision to come out to be transgender, and then began the transition into a male. Sasha posted via Instagram, "I am the third transgender individual to be featured on the show, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to represent transgender individuals in such an extensive way."
