While The Voice coaches did not talk about Sasha's background, the duo and Jim discussed their journey to where they are today through a short introduction clip that was played before the show. The two talked about the music they listen to as well as how Sasha began playing guitar when he was just six years old. His father is a music instructor, making it easier to learn the art for Sasha. Sasha faced identity issues as a boy, even though he is a woman. In the latest post to Instagram, the young woman spoke out and discussed his struggles. Jim became overwhelmed by tears when he explained why the reason he was not a the victim of this difficult time. Sasha Allen was born in the form of a woman. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, will turn 19 in 2021. Sasha Allen started his journey to masculinity when he was just entering his first year of high school. Sasha posted in his Instagram, "I am the third transgender individual to make it on the show and I'm excited to be a transgender person on such a large platform."
